Job summary
Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. seeks a Technology Solutions Software Engineer II-III to design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for connected products and intelligent control systems at our Greenville, NC location.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop scalable architectures, verify software through simulation and testing, and support product development and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher in a relevant engineering field with embedded software experience.
- Experience developing embedded software for connected products and control systems.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with CAN bus and real-time networks.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for connected products and intelligent controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and system architecture.
- Verify software via simulation, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the lifecycle.
- Support product development, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Level III: provide code reviews, design oversight, supplier collaboration, and mentorship.
