Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an Operations Electrical Engineer to manage the operations of wind, solar, and storage assets. The role is based in Chicago with a hybrid schedule: in-office Monday–Thursday and remote on Fridays.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and supporting NERC compliance. Ideal candidates hold a BS in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience and are willing to travel for field work.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• 2+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
• Willingness to travel and perform field work.

Responsibilities

• Support operating facilities with electrical troubleshooting and data review.
• Interface with site personnel, contractors, and engineers.
• Manage substation and balance of plant electrical maintenance programs.
