Job summary
Invenergy LLC seeks a Senior Staff Engineer to lead electrical engineering and construction for cutting-edge renewable energy projects in Chicago, IL. You will manage conceptual designs and coordinate with external engineering firms to deliver final detailed designs for wind and solar installations.
Responsibilities include design management, design reviews of DC solar and AC collection systems, substations, and interconnections; tracking schedules; and supporting procurement and on-site
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- Experience with HV/MV electrical infrastructure (substations/switchyards, distribution systems, transmission lines, transformers).
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Engineering design management for renewable projects and coordination with engineering firms.
- Review electrical drawings including DC solar and AC collection systems, substations, and interconnections.
- Track design schedules and ensure critical dates are met.
- Support procurement, construction, and field issue resolution.
- Coordinate with independent engineers and project partners during due diligence.
