Job summary

Holman UK is hiring a Driver Care Fleet Adviser (Maternity Cover) based in Birmingham with hybrid working after a 6-month review. This 12-month temporary role pays circa £28,000 per annum and involves handling customer calls to arrange vehicle services, breakdown support, and coordinating with suppliers.

The role requires excellent customer service, calm under pressure, and solid IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Prior motor industry experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a busy environment.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Good general education level.
• Strong administrative skills and PC literacy.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level.
• Able to meet targets and deadlines.
• Motor industry experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming calls from customers wishing to organise service, maintenance and repairs for company vehicles.
• Receive calls from customers who have broken down.
• Organise and book service, maintenance and repairs with suppliers.
• Ensure recovery vehicles are organised promptly.
• Arrange courtesy vehicles or initial rental arrangements.
• Schedule other ancillary services as required.
• Keep customers informed of progress and escalate concerns to the Team Leader.
