Qualifications

• DPT required or equivalent entry-level PT qualification.
• Arizona physical therapist license or eligibility within 90 days of employment.
• Minimum of three years clinical experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in exercise physiology and teaching its application to PT.
• Experience teaching or mentoring in academic or clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, teach, and assess foundational and cardiopulmonary content across formats (classroom, online, labs).
• Apply exercise physiology to connect body systems, exercise prescription, and rehab.
• Teach cardiovascular and pulmonary clinical reasoning including complex cases.
• Collaborate to align objectives, assessments, and student outcomes; use data to improve instruction.
• Advise and mentor students; contribute to scholarship and service; engage with community.
