Job summary

Harrisburg University seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor for Inpatient Physical Therapy. This 12-month, full-time faculty role includes teaching inpatient PT content, cardiovascular/ pulmonary and/or neurologic PT, and contributing to curriculum development in a hybrid online/offline program in Harrisburg, PA.

The candidate will engage in scholarship, student mentoring, and CAPTE accreditation activities, with regular travel within Pennsylvania as needed.

Qualifications

DPT from a CAPTE-accredited program.
PA license or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to teaching.
Minimum of three years of full-time post-licensure clinical experience, including inpatient PT.
Ability to teach online and in-person lab environments; hybrid education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, deliver, and refine clinical content in inpatient PT, cardiovascular and pulmonary, and/or neurologic PT.
Teach inpatient/acute care content and related courses within the DPT curriculum.
Coordinate exams, assessments, and student performance across hybrid and on-site modalities.
Mentor students and support coaching and remediation processes as needed.
Support accreditation activities, program assessment, and curriculum mapping.
