University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track Faculty member for the Cardiopulmonary Hybrid PT Pathway in the PTRSAT division. The role focuses on online/hybrid instruction, teaching cardiopulmonary content, and assisting with clinical education in the DPT curriculum.

Start date: Summer 2027. The department supports interdisciplinary education and research, with campuses in Kansas City and Overland Park.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice physical therapy in Kansas.
• Experience in cardiopulmonary PT.
• Experience teaching didactic cardiopulmonary courses in an entry-level DPT program.
• Experience with innovative classroom approaches in PT education (distance learning, flipped models, immersive labs).
• Experience supporting full-time clinical education in an entry-level DPT program.
• Experience teaching asynchronous and synchronous learning in hybrid education models.

Responsabilités

• Assist with teaching courses within the current DPT program.
• Support development of a new hybrid DPT program following accreditation standards.
• Participate in department, school, and institution committees and governance.
