Job summary

University of Kansas Medical Center seeks a full-time, non-tenure track faculty member to join the Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science, and Athletic Training. The role focuses on teaching the hybrid pathway of the DPT program and supporting clinical education within a growing program expansion approved by CAPTE.

The position requires experience in online/hybrid instruction and cardiopulmonary content, with anticipated start Summer 2027.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice physical therapy in Kansas.
• Experience with cardiopulmonary PT and didactic teaching in an entry-level DPT program.
• Experience with online/hybrid instruction and innovative classroom approaches.

Responsibilities

• Assist with teaching courses within the current DPT program in alignment with contemporary expertise.
• Support development of a new hybrid DPT program following accreditation standards.
• Participate on department and school committees and engage in professional service.
