Qualifications

• Earned DPT from CAPTE-accredited program; ABPTS certification preferred.
• Active Pennsylvania license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient clinical experience.
• Experience teaching or curriculum development in PT education.
• Ability to teach both online and intensive in-person laboratory experiences.

Responsibilities

• Teach inpatient and acute care PT content, including cardiovascular/pulmonary and/or neurologic PT.
• Develop, deliver, and assess course content; align with CAPTE standards.
• Collaborate in a co-teaching model and participate in on-campus laboratory immersions.
• Provide learner coaching, remediation, and resources; support accreditation activities.
• Engage in scholarship, presentations, and educational research.

Education

DPT from CAPTE-accredited program

Active PA Physical Therapy license or eligibility

3+ years post-licensure inpatient clinical experience

Teaching or curriculum development experience

Ability to teach online and in-person laboratory content

ABPTS Board Certification (CCS/NCS) preferred
