Job summary

Brightpoint in Bloomington seeks a Program Supervisor for the Doula program to lead a team of Doulas and staff to deliver strength-based, family-centered services for high-risk expectant parents and families with children birth to 12 months.

The role ensures compliance with contract, funder, accreditation, and program model standards and requires DONA-related qualifications, program model training, and Gateway registry. Hybrid work with on-site Bloomington office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or related field.
• DONA certification preferred or training within six months of hire required.
• Complete program model training within six months of hire.
• Register with Illinois Gateways to Opportunity within two weeks.
• Five years’ related work experience in early childhood or social services.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Doulas and may supervise home visitors and other staff as needed.
• Ensures compliance with contract, funder, accreditation, and program standards.
• Provides personnel policy implementation, hiring, orientation, training, and evaluations.
• Maintains Doula documentation and shares with management as required.
• Plans and facilitates staff meetings and provides reflective supervision and case consultations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or related human service field

DONA certification or complete DONA training within six months

Complete program model training within six months (EHS, Baby TALK, HFA, PAT, etc.)

Register and become a member of Illinois Gateways to Opportunity registry within two weeks

Five years’ related work experience in early childhood, prevention services, case management, or social work
