Job summary

MEDA in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Philanthropy & Public Engagement Coordinator to support donor engagement, events and communications. The role includes US donation deposits, calendar management, travel, and expense processing in a hybrid office setting.

You will work closely with the VP of Philanthropy & Public Engagement and across the PPE team to ensure timely content, reports, and smooth operations. Start date August 2026, in-office 3 days/week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in administration, communications, philanthropy, fundraising or public engagement.
• Minimum 4 years of administrative experience supporting an executive or department.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn donor/finance databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall coordination for PPE division activities, scheduling, documents, and meeting logistics.
• Assist VP with calendars, travel, expenses and general admin support.
• Support event planning for MEDA Regional Network events and the annual convention.
• Process private donor cheques and manage PO/expense compliance in MEDA systems.
• Create presentations and update donor communications and materials.
• Maintain data in donor and engagement systems and generate basic reports.
