DESC (Downtown Emergency Service Center) is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Individual Giving Coordinator to manage mid-level donors and the annual fund, advancing donor retention and upgrades. You will build meaningful relationships, craft compelling appeals, and collaborate with DESC’s Fund Development team to meet revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in nonprofit fundraising or related donor-facing roles.
• Experience managing and cultivating a donor portfolio, including direct gift solicitations.
• Experience with writing fundraising communications (emails, letters, appeals).
• Knowledge of moves management strategies and donor stewardship best practices.
• Commitment to equity-based fundraising and community-centric fundraising principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 250-300 active and prospective mid-level donors and foundations.
• Develop and implement tailored solicitation and stewardship moves plans.
• Conduct visits to solicit gifts and upgrade donor commitments.
• Coordinate with the team to plan and execute annual fund campaigns and Give-Big/GivingTuesday efforts.
• Track donor engagement and report on fundraising performance metrics.
