Job summary

Michigan Medicine is seeking an Event Coordinator to support community fundraising events and donor engagement. You will work with the Office of Development to plan and execute fundraising activities, manage donor details, and collaborate with multiple teams to advance university fundraising goals.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and experience with event management and CRM systems. A hybrid work arrangement is available, with on-site events in the Ann Arbor area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in fundraising, development or event execution.
• Proven ability to execute events independently and with a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite.
• Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as entry point for all community fundraising events and donor details.
• Manage portfolio of community fundraising events and third‑party activities.
• Maintain CRM data, reporting, and asset distribution.
• Create collateral for community fundraising (toolkits, brochures).
• Plan stewardship events for community donors and assist marketing efforts.
