Job summary

The University of Chicago Medicine’s BSD DEV - Principal Gifts 1 team seeks a professional to support fundraising programs and donor relations, performing assigned development activities with guidance. You will help execute campaigns, coordinate events, and assist in communications for leaders and volunteers.

In a hybrid environment (3 in-office, 2 remote), you will contribute to meeting annual fundraising goals and assist in data-driven reporting using the Phoenix donor database.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
• 2–5 years of related work experience.
• Experience with fundraising, donor management or similar database software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fundraising activities to ensure annual goals are met.
• Collaborate on projects to increase participation, revenue, and engagement.
• Plan and execute events, meetings, and donor engagement activities.
• Draft and edit donor correspondences and marketing materials.
• Maintain Phoenix database and generate reports as needed.
