Job summary

The University of Chicago Medicine seeks a professional to support development activities within MBSD. You will execute fundraising projects, coordinate campaigns, and assist with donor communications.

This role emphasizes collaboration, data research in Phoenix, event planning support, and producing reports for leadership and volunteers. A bachelor's degree and 2–5 years nonprofit experience are preferred; hybrid schedule with in-office and remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 2–5 years in nonprofit fundraising, alumni relations, or related field.
• Experience with fundraising databases and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates fundraising activities to meet annual goals.
• Collaborates on projects to increase donor engagement and revenue.
• Coordinates meetings and events; supports planning and vendors.
• Prepares reports and correspondence for donors and leaders.
• Uses Phoenix to retrieve data and generate queries/reports.
