Job summary

University of Michigan's Michigan Medicine Office of Development seeks an Events and Community Fundraising Coordinator to manage community fundraising events, donor data, and stewardship activities. You will partner with the Digital Fundraising team to support outreach and event-based campaigns.

The role requires strong planning and relationship-building, with on-site event support and a preference for experience in academia or healthcare philanthropy. A hybrid work arrangement is possible.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in fundraising, development or event strategy and execution.
• Proven ability to execute events independently and with a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite.
• Experience building relationships with internal/external constituents.

Responsibilities

• Act as point of entry for all community fundraising events and donor details.
• Plan and execute a portfolio of community fundraising events and third-party activities.
• Maintain and refine donor databases and event collateral.
• Support stewardship events for community donors and collaborate with Digital Fundraising.
• Assist with planning large and small events, including logistics and guest lists.
