Job summary

TRU Community Care is seeking a Donor Engagement Specialist to advance fundraising and donor engagement through stewardship, event management, and development operations in Lafayette, CO. You will work closely with the Director of Development to build relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners while ensuring accurate management of development systems.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in fundraising, development, donor relations, sales, event planning, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Coordinate donor communications, acknowledgments, and stewardship activities to strengthen relationships and donor retention and growth.
Support donor cultivation, solicitation, and engagement strategies with the Director of Development.
Coordinate fundraising events, including planning, logistics, vendor and volunteer coordination, and post-event follow-up.
Manage the development CRM, ensuring accurate donor records, gift tracking, and fundraising reports.
Collaborate across departments to support fundraising initiatives and improve donor experience.
