Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Technical Program Manager in Arlington, VA for a hybrid role with three days on-site. The position requires deep DoD simulation framework experience and a track record of managing scope, schedules, risks, and senior stakeholders across Pentagon and Air Force leadership.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering complex MS&A programs, defining roadmaps, and translating CONOPs into software requirements for technical teams. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 10+ years leading technical projects or analytical teams.
• Experience with and understanding of DoD simulation frameworks (AFSIM/STORM/CFAM) and modern concepts (e.g., JADC2).
• Ability to translate operational concepts into software requirements and tasks for technical teams.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP/SAR eligibility is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, delivery, and programmatic execution of complex Modeling, Simulation & Analysis programs.
• Define and track technical roadmaps, milestones, and deliverables for MS&A software initiatives.
• Translate complex Air Force concepts into actionable software requirements and workflows for teams.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams and clear blockers to translate CONOPs into validated MS&A capabilities.
• Assess trade-offs, manage scope and schedule risks, and present dashboards to senior leaders.
