Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking an Engineer through Senior Engineer for Distribution Protection Planning. The hybrid role requires in-office presence at least 3 days and reports to the Fort Worth location.

You will perform protective settings, system studies, and project coordination to ensure reliable, safe operation of the distribution system while meeting regulatory requirements. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Texas encouraged.
• Distribution protection work experience encouraged.
• Fundamental understanding of Distribution System Reliability, fault interruption, protective equipment characteristics.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve electric system issues and document plans clearly for other teams.
• Prioritize safety in design and operation of projects.
• Manage a large portfolio of projects with high quality and reliability.
• Provide protective settings per Distribution Protection philosophy to minimize damage and maintain system stability.
• Perform system studies (short-circuit, load flow, voltage sag) and prepare cost effective recommendations.
• Support field personnel and coordinate with DER interconnections and other Oncor groups.
