Job summary

ControlPoint Technologies, Inc. in Mansfield, MA is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to support our Electric Utility System Planning & Engineering team.

You will lead or contribute to area planning, interconnection studies, system impact studies, and power flow analyses for distribution systems. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least five years in electrical distribution planning, and proficiency with tools like ASPEN, CYME, PSS/E, and Synergi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum five years' experience in electrical distribution planning.
• Experience in Electric Power Distribution Design.
• Excellent verbal and Written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and strong ethics.

Responsibilities

• Provide project support within the Electric Utility System Planning & Engineering team.
• Conduct area planning studies and interconnection analyses for distribution systems.
• Perform system impact studies and power flow analyses.
• Model systems for stability and reliability assessments.
• Collaborate with utility groups, departments, and operations.
