Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Director of Application Support to lead enterprise applications, drive optimization, and align technology with business goals. This hybrid role demands strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions.

You will oversee staffing, vendor relationships, and technology strategies while championing Agile practices and modern application governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Business or related field.
• 8+ years in enterprise software applications.
• 5+ years of leadership overseeing technical teams.
• Experience translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and lifecycle management.
• Experience with roadmap development and portfolio management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Experience with AI and automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Application Services team, including staffing and development efforts.
• Direct the selection, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of software applications.
• Champion Agile methodologies and iterative delivery practices.
• Partner with business units to provide application expertise and guide successful solutions.
• Develop and maintain application roadmaps, upgrade schedules, and technology strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and automation, for operational gains.
• Monitor application performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, compliance, and business continuity planning.
