Pacific Life is seeking an Actuary & Director to join the Enterprise Reinsurance team. The role is on-site 4 days per week with one remote day, located in Newport Beach, Omaha, or Charlotte.

You will lead major reinsurance activities, manage external relationships, and guide strategic negotiations within a collaborative, senior stakeholder environment. Qualifications

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or Career Associate (ASA) designation required or strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of life insurance, annuity, and/or reinsurance experience; reinsurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as business development contact with external reinsurance relationships and leadership at partner firms.
• Manage reinsurance relationships and discussions for new business and inforce opportunities.
• Lead analysis and execution of new reinsurance arrangements aligned with business strategy.
• Negotiate rates/structures and contract terms with reinsurers with the Reinsurance Admin team.
• Model and analyze complex reinsurance transactions and provide strategic recommendations.
• Oversee inforce programs and assess financial performance and partnerships.
