Pacific Life in Omaha, NE; Newport Beach, CA; or Charlotte, NC seeks a Director & Actuary to join the Annuity Product Development team on a hybrid schedule with four days in the office. relocation assistance is offered.

You will design and price products, oversee pricing models for annuities, and drive profitability through risk and market insights. Requires a Bachelor’s in Actuarial Science or related field, an FSA designation, and 10+ years of actuarial experience with pricing or risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics or equivalent field.
• FSA designation required or in progress where applicable.
• 10+ years actuarial experience with pricing or risk management.
• Strong communication and leadership, with ability to present to senior leaders.
• Organizational, time management and teamwork skills.
• Collaborative work style across cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Balance product profit, risk, and market competitiveness; develop and test pricing solutions.
• Design and price products following profit and risk guidelines.
• Lead pricing models for variable, fixed-index, index-linked and fixed annuities.
• Support pricing and analysis to drive profitable growth across retail annuities.
• Incorporate industry, regulatory and market trends into development cycles.
• Synthesize data into a cohesive story to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with strategy, sales, finance, risk, and investments to foster growth.
• Lead cross-functional projects and present designs and risk to senior management.
