Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking an Actuary & Director to join the Life Insurance Pricing team. The role is hybrid, onsite four days a week with one day remote, located in Newport Beach, CA, Omaha, NE, or Charlotte, NC, with relocation assistance available.

You will lead pricing initiatives, collaborate across functions, and drive product development for life insurance, guiding a team of actuaries and analysts in a fast-paced market.

Qualifications

FSA with 10+ years in actuarial pricing and product development.
Direct experience developing life insurance products.
Strong analytical and leadership capabilities.
Proven ability to partner across functions and manage projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a pricing team and oversee pricing activities.
Lead product pricing and support product implementation with timely, high-quality deliveries.
Monitor regulatory changes and pricing or risk management developments.
Ensure pricing follows guidelines, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
Collaborate with marketing, risk, legal, and operations to balance competitiveness and profitability.
Grow talent and provide development guidance within the team.
