Job summary

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency in Huntington Beach, is seeking a freelance Digital Analyst II to join the Kia team. This contract role supports digital analytics and data engineering, focusing on collecting, validating, and reporting on website performance.

You will work with analysts and engineers to transform raw event data into analysis-ready datasets, ensuring data quality and clear reporting that drives insights for clients.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in web analytics, digital marketing analytics, or data analysis with exposure to data engineering.
• Strong SQL and data processing proficiency.
• Proficiency with analytics tools (GA4, Adobe Analytics) and querying GA4 exports in BigQuery.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Data Studio).
• Familiarity with Databricks, notebooks, Delta Lake, SQL warehouses, and scheduled jobs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze channel performance metrics, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
• Translate raw data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Write performant SQL to process large event-level datasets and support data architecture.
• Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards using GA4, BigQuery, Looker, Tableau, or similar tools.
