Job summary

GEMCORE is seeking a Diabetes Care Advisor in Greenville, SC, operating in a hybrid remote capacity. The role focuses on coordinating patient insulin pump and CGM orders with physicians, insurers, and care teams, while delivering excellent customer service.

Primary duties include proactive patient communication via phone and email, building relationships with doctors and educators, and managing authorizations and certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and telephone skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Treat new and existing customers like family.
• Cultivate new leads through physicians, diabetes educators, hospitals, clinics, manufacturers reps and community partners.
• Coordinate insulin pump and CGM orders with physicians and insurers.
• Communicate via telephone and email with customers and patients; maintain attention to detail.
• Obtain prior authorizations and required certifications per insurance guidelines.
