Job summary

Asian Arts Initiative is seeking a Development Coordinator to support fundraising operations across donor data management, individual giving, grants administration, and events. The role emphasizes accuracy in Salesforce, reporting, and cultivation activities within a small two-person team.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to equity, with experience in nonprofit fundraising and collaboration across departments to advance the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in nonprofit administration, fundraising operations, grants management, or related field.
• Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred; experience with comparable CRM systems acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donor, prospect, institutional, event, gift, and engagement records in Salesforce.
• Process gifts and maintain complete contribution records with proper documentation.
• Create reports, dashboards, lists, and analyses to support fundraising strategy and donor cultivation.
• Coordinate development events, volunteer recruitment, and post‑event follow-up.
• Assist with grants administration, proposals, reporting, and funder research.
• Support board materials and committee communications.
