Job summary

American Heart Association in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Development Director for South Central PA to drive revenue for Go Red for Women. The role blends local travel with hybrid work, building corporate sponsorships and donor pipelines, and leading volunteer teams for events and campaigns.

You will present proposals, manage relations with executives, and coordinate auctions and engagement activities to meet revenue targets and advance the mission.

Qualifications

• 3 years of fundraising, sales or related experience.
• University/college degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel locally up to 75% and occasional overnight trips.
• Ability to lift/move large objects when needed; basic MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by prospecting local corporate sponsorships and individual donations.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of sponsors and donors aligned to campaign goals.
• Develop and present proposals and materials to secure revenue and engagement.
• Recruit executive volunteers and coordinate day-of-event volunteers.
• Coordinate the event auction and lead a committee to solicit items.
• Lead member engagement events for Cor Vitae giving society.
