Job summary

The American Heart Association, based in South Central Pennsylvania, seeks a Development Director to drive revenue for Go Red for Women. This hybrid role involves local travel to meet donors in the South Central PA area, with a base salary plus up to 25% incentives for achieving targets.

Qualifications

• Three years of fundraising, sales, or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel locally up to 75% and occasional overnight trips.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by prospecting and securing local corporate sponsorships and individual donations.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective sponsors and donors through targeted research.
• Develop and present proposals and materials to secure revenue and volunteer engagement.
• Recruit executive volunteer leadership and committees; coordinate volunteers.
• Coordinate the event auction and solicit auction items to raise funds.
• Lead and engage new Cor Vitae giving society membership; plan engagement events.
• Plan and implement events with internal and external partners.
• Support campaign communications with the Communications Director.
