Job summary

Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF) is seeking an experienced Development Associate to support fundraising initiatives and advance the organization’s mission. Working with the Director of Development, you will contribute to annual appeals, grant research, donor cultivation, sponsorship fulfillment, and online giving.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a flexible hybrid schedule in Irvine, CA.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of fundraising functions and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Experience with data management and reporting; grant writing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of annual appeals, seasonal appeals, special events, and third-party fundraising activities.
• Research foundation and corporate funding opportunities and manage the grant application process, including writing and deadlines.
• Support donor cultivation and fundraising initiatives while building relationships with donors, Board members, corporations, and community partners.
• Coordinate in-kind donations and sponsor recognition and benefit fulfillment.
• Help manage online giving platforms, event websites, donation forms, donor data, reporting, and analysis to support fundraising strategy.
