Job summary

Repsol seeks a Development Analyst or Associate to join the growing team supporting utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the eastern United States. The role is based in Downtown Houston with a hybrid model: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

You will assist project leads, develop tracking tools, prepare market analyses, and support permitting strategies while collaborating across engineering, procurement, construction, and financing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree a plus.
• Broad knowledge of Federal, state, regional, and local air, water, and conservation laws, rules, and regulations.
• Excellent problem solving and strategic thinking skills, detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership of work product.
• Ability to manage a diverse workload while prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent Team-worker, prioritizing the fulfillment of team objectives.
• Travel, as required (up to 25%).
• 0-4 years of work experience in a related industry desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist project leads in managing a wide portfolio of solar, wind and storage, focusing on achieving goals and defined target deadlines.
• Develop processes and tracking tools with key milestones, parameters, schedules, and cost forecast.
• Creating materials that support project development, including presentations, talking points, and market analysis.
• Assist with implementing permitting strategies, schedules, and agency and public outreach efforts to minimize project cost and risk.
• Create and/or manage internal tools for tracking efforts to develop/construct projects and for coordinating internal resources and priorities
• Assist with development efforts such as land agreement negotiations, processing, and permit preparation
• Support due diligence on project acquisition opportunities as requested
• Provide development support through engineering, procurement, construction, and financing as required
