Job summary

Repsol is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Downtown Houston with a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 from home). You will lead utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects from late-stage development through COD, coordinating safety, cost, schedule, and commercial performance while guiding EPC contractor performance and stakeholder communications.

The role requires 10+ years of project management leadership in energy, strong governance, and experience delivering complex energy

Qualifications

• 10+ years in energy, infrastructure, or related industries with ownership of safety, cost, schedule, and contractor performance.
• Proven full-life cycle EPC experience on utility-scale wind, solar, or storage projects.
• Experience administering EPC contracts and handling change orders and notices.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership across project lifecycle and ensure protection of people and environment.
• Lead cross-functional teams from development through COD and turnover to Asset Management.
• Manage EPC contractor performance and ensure milestones, deliverables, and notices meet contract terms.
• Own baseline schedule development, critical path analysis, progress measurement, and recovery planning.
• Coordinate budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and overall project economics with stakeholders.
• Prepare executive status reports, risks, decisions, and mitigation plans for COD and budget outcomes.
• Lead change orders, claims avoidance, and negotiation with Legal, Procurement, and Engineering.
• Maintain integrated risk register with clear owners, dates, and impacts.
