Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst for a 9-month hybrid role in Boise, Idaho. The position provides on-site and remote support for in-house teams, handling helpdesk tickets, hardware and software configuration, and basic network issues.

You will build and configure workstations, assist with user accounts, coordinate with vendors, and enforce standard procedures. A minimum of 3 years of desktop experience and strong customer service are required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to help desk tickets and provides in-person support
• Builds and configures new user workstation equipment (PC, imaging, peripherals)
• Troubleshoots basic network, software, and printing problems
• Monitors and coordinates problem/change activities
• Provides training to users on hardware and software applications
• Installs, configures, and tests application software packages
• Configures user and network equipment per standards
• Identifies and corrects hardware/software problems
• Assists in defining system standards and procedures
• May work independently or as part of a team
