Job summary

Shriner's Children’s Hospital in Tampa, FL is seeking a Desktop Support I to provide technical helpdesk support for end users, executives, and affiliated vendors. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams.

The position is hybrid, based at our Corporate Headquarters in Tampa, with four days onsite and one remote day. The successful candidate will manage devices, AD, Windows servers and apps, mobile devices, IP

Qualifications

• Technical with 1–3+ years IT experience.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP routing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with desktop OS including Microsoft and Mac OS X.
• Troubleshooting wireless devices in an enterprise environment.
• Understanding of project management concepts.
• Knowledge of Windows image solutions and PXE.
• Ability to create automated software packages and installation options.
• PowerShell commands experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support via email, phone, remote connection, and desk-side.
• Install hardware and software and perform general IT support tasks.
• Maintain hardware assets and software licensing inventories.
• Deploy and support SHC hardware and Windows OS, Office, and related software.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues including VPN and network.
• Document procedures and close tickets with clear notes.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding of users.
