Job summary

The Eliassen Group currently seeks a motivated Desktop Support Technician in a hybrid Washington, DC role. You will install, diagnose, repair, and maintain PC hardware and software to ensure optimal workstation performance.

This position requires in-person, phone, or email end-user support and may involve non-standard hours. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of desktop support experience, strong Windows 10/11 imaging skills, and familiarity with enterprise tools like SCCM, BigFix, and Remedy,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of desktop support experience.
• Windows 10/11 imaging, deployment, and maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required background investigations; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain workstations and laptops with Windows 10/11 and required apps.
• Install, configure, and support software including Acrobat, IBM tools, and Office suites.
• Troubleshoot desktop issues and document resolutions in Remedy.
• Create user documentation for new processes and applications.
• Provide timely end-user assistance in person, by phone, or email.
• Support non-standard hours when required.
