Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program with current CDA certification; or a combination of education and on-the-job training to demonstrate basic chairside dental assisting skills.
• CPR and nitrous certifications (or the ability to obtain upon hire).
• Must be x-ray certified.
• Basic knowledge of dentistry and ability to educate patients regarding their dental health.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment. Self-motivated and driven for team success.
• Experience with front desk responsibilities in a dental office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctor's schedule and patient flow.
• Assist the doctors with all dental procedures.
• Coordinate and schedule diagnosed treatment with a patient.
• Answering phone calls and making patient appointments.
• Maintain administrative records and document patient treatments and payments.
• Discuss diagnosed treatment with the patient.
• Maintain inventory by ordering clinical supplies and manage supplies.
• Promote and educate patients about the company's services.
• Coordinate and schedule patient arrivals and referrals as required.
