Position: Hybrid Patient Care Coordinator & Dental Assistant

The Opportunity:
This is a unique hybrid role perfect for an organized, people-loving dental professional. You will be the vital link between our patients and our clinical team, splitting your time between primarily coordinating care at the front desk and secondly assisting chairside. You will ensure our practice runs smoothly and our patients feel valued, supported, and informed every step of the way.

Your Key Responsibilities:

As a Patient Care Coordinator:

Be the friendly first point of contact for patients in person and over the phone.

Schedule appointments efficiently and manage the practice calendar.

Verify insurance benefits, process claims, and handle patient billing inquiries.

Discuss treatment plans, explain financial options, and schedule follow-up care.

Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality in our digital system.

Nurture patient relationships, following up to ensure satisfaction and schedule recall visits.

As a Dental Assistant 1:

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following strict infection control protocols.

Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures (e.g., fillings, crowns, extractions).

Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).

Provide clear postoperative instructions and care information to patients.

Perform basic lab tasks and manage inventory of clinical supplies.

Ensure patient comfort and support throughout their clinical visit.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):

Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program is required; CDA/RDA certification is a strong plus.

Experience: New graduates with exceptional externship experience will be considered.
