Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting a Data Platform Manager to own the strategy, architecture, and roadmap for a modern data platform enabling trusted data products, analytics, and AI across Orthopedics. You’ll lead the Data Foundation initiative to overhaul the data ecosystem and establish a scalable lakehouse using Databricks and cloud services.

You will build reusable ingestion and data-pipeline frameworks, ensure governance and observability, and partner with business units to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of professional data engineering or platform experience.
• Proven leadership in distributed teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience building or modernizing data platforms and lakehouse architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own and implement the Data Platform and Data Foundation strategy, target architecture, and roadmaps.
• Lead the design of a scalable Databricks lakehouse using medallion architecture.
• Develop reusable data ingestion, transformation, and testing frameworks with CI/CD integration.
• Establish engineering governance, coding standards, and production readiness practices.
• Drive data observability and governance across pipelines and products.
