Job summary

CI&T seeks an experienced data platform architect to design and deliver a scalable lakehouse from ingestion to end-use. You will own end-to-end data lifecycle architecture, build production-grade data pipelines, and drive architectural guardrails in a lean AI-native delivery setup with close collaboration to an AI architecture counterpart and client leadership.

You will lead cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP), implement IaC, and mentor teammates on data engineering standards as the platform

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience designing enterprise data platforms from scratch.
• Deep Databricks and lakehouse architecture expertise.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong IaC skills using Terraform, OpenTofu, or AWS CDK.
• Solid data engineering fundamentals and data-driven collaboration with data science.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable lakehouse data platform from ingestion to consumption.
• Lead hands-on data pipelines, frameworks, and platform services with code.
• Define end-to-end data lifecycle architecture for analytics and ML use cases.
• Collaborate with AI architecture and client leadership to defend decisions.
