Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Data Platform Manager to own the strategy, architecture, and roadmap for a modern data platform. You will lead the Databricks lakehouse design using medallion architecture and build reusable data pipelines with cloud services, driving governance and quality across data products.

You will guide data engineers and partner with analytics, AI, and business teams to enable trusted data, scalable analytics, and AI-ready outcomes in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of professional work experience in data engineering or data platforms.
• Experience leading design and modernization of data platforms and translating strategy into roadmaps.
• Strong hands-on skills with Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Own data platform strategy, architecture, and roadmap for a modern data platform.
• Lead design of a scalable Databricks lakehouse using medallion architecture.
• Design and implement reusable ingestion, transformation, and data-quality controls.
• Establish engineering standards for data modeling, testing, CI/CD, and security.
• Provide governance and oversight for data pipelines and data products.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage external partners.
