Job summary

Urban Science International Gmbh is seeking an Implementation Engineer with strong data engineering skills to help build multi-tenant micro-services solutions. You will work with .NET, SQL Server and Angular, delivering value through well-designed data processes and scalable software.

The role requires in-person work two days per week at our Detroit, MI office, with hybrid workplace flexibility. You will collaborate in an Agile Scrum environment, contribute to CI/CD, and mentor peers as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with data integration and ETL/ELT patterns.
• Proficiency with C#, .NET, WCF and MS SQL Server.
• Knowledge of relational and dimensional database design and unstructured data solutions.
• Familiarity with VS, TFS and Git.
• Experience with automation testing and CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
• Ability to work in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Ability to diagnose performance, security, scalability and maintainability concerns.

Responsibilities

• Deliver software solutions with early and continuous value to customers.
• Apply Agile methodologies and Scrum practices to development, implementation and support.
• Collaborate with teams to test new features and identify potential issues.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and SQL logic for scalable data handling.
• Design and configure new requirements in client solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, CI/CD and quality engineering efforts.
• Develop and maintain databases to support applications and integrations.
