Job summary

Technogen invites an experienced Data Engineer to join our client engineering team in Oaks, PA on a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite). You will architect and scale enterprise data pipelines, data warehouses, and automated ETL workflows, ensuring data reliability and performance across multi-cloud environments.

You will lead data architecture efforts, optimize pipelines, and collaborate with software engineering, data science, product, and exec stakeholders in Agile cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum of 14+ years of experience in software engineering, data architecture, and big data analytics.
• Strong hands-on SQL, data modeling, and distributed data processing skills.
• Experience with modern data stack frameworks and cloud storage systems.
• End-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing experience.
• Performance tuning, database optimization, and governance expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal English, with stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, optimize, and maintain enterprise data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build and optimize distributed data warehouses and data lakehouse architectures.
• Create complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data processing scripts.
• Develop data automation, orchestration, and integration scripts.
• Secure and optimize cloud storage and compute resources across multi-cloud/hybrid environments.
• Monitor data ingestion, query performance, and pipeline logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in Agile sprints.
• Document data models, topologies, and runbooks.
