Job summary

Chatham University invites applications for the position of Data Entry Assistant within the Independent Monitoring for Quality (IM4Q) Program. This is a part-time, hybrid role with flexible scheduling, approximately 15 hours per week Oct–Jan, increasing to about 30 hours per week Jan–Jun to align with peak survey season.

You will enter completed IM4Q monitor surveys into the state data system, review for completeness, track progress, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in office administration, data entry, or related field preferred.
• Prior data entry experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Reliable internet access and a suitable private home workspace.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines, especially during January–June peak data entry period.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Enter completed IM4Q monitor surveys into the state data system accurately, completely, and within established deadlines.
• Review incoming surveys for completeness and follow up with the Program Coordinator regarding missing or unclear information.
• Track and report data entry progress.
• Maintain confidentiality of all survey data and comply with all program and state privacy requirements.
• Organize and maintain electronic survey files in accordance with program record-keeping procedures.
• Assist with other general administrative duties as needed, particularly during the September–January period, including organizing program records; preparing or sending correspondence and reminder materials; assisting with scheduling or tracking monitor assignments; and other clerical support as assigned.
