Job summary

State of Colorado in Denver seeks a temporary Data Specialist Assistant to support the Data Specialist team with high-volume data entry and EDI error resolution. The role requires careful data handling, interdepartmental communication, and adherence to applicable rules and procedures.

You will work in a hybrid setting with daily processing of sensitive documents and collaboration with multiple units to ensure accurate, timely information exchange on behalf of the State of Colorado.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of relevant experience including data entry, data review and analysis.
• Experience interpolating/extracting data from multiple sources (spreadsheets, PDFs, forms) and using office applications.
• Ability to identify information and communicate data processes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume daily data entry (Change of Address, Entry of Appearance, Objections, etc.).
• Screen and research Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) error reports for timely resolution.
• Utilize databases (CoComp, NCCI, My UI, SOS) to ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Assist Supervisor with social security number verifications and related tasks as needed.
