Job summary

State of Colorado's Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) seeks a Data Analyst for the Data Innovation, Technology and Security division. The role focuses on building and maintaining CDHS data using multiple sources, maintaining data accuracy, and generating metrics to identify trends and inform HR leadership.

Responsibilities include data analysis, reporting, and development of data management processes, with a hybrid work arrangement (minimum 2 days in the office).

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of relevant experience in Data Analysis or related work.
• Education and/or experience equal to six years in Data Analysis.
• Preferred: SQL Server experience, Tableau, Excel, and programming familiarity (R, Python, JavaScript, AppSheets).

Responsibilities

• Analyze HR data from multiple sources to identify trends and correlations.
• Create charts, graphs, and dashboards to drive HR decisions.
• Build and automate data management processes and maintain data integrity.
• Design and pull data from CDHS HR databases for reporting.
• Develop queries and reports for compliance and legislative requests.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to address analytics needs and communicate insights.
