Job summary
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Infrastructure Operations Technician (Finance) for a hybrid role with an average of 2 days per week in an HPE office. You will monitor compute, storage, virtualization, and network infrastructure, troubleshoot incidents, and support data center and lab environments.
The shift is 3rd shift: Mon-Fri 10:30pm–6:30am, with relocation assistance for eligible candidates. Required: Bachelor's degree and 2 years in infrastructure operations; VMware/Hyper‑V/KVM,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 2 years in infrastructure operations, systems administration, or related IT role.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain compute, storage, virtualization, and network infrastructure to ensure high service availability.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and elevate incidents in a timely manner for 24x7 operations.
- Install and support data center and lab infrastructure, including hardware, cabling, power, and connectivity.
- Execute operational procedures, approved automation workflows, and infrastructure maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, networking, and application teams to maintain stable and secure services.
