Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an IT Infrastructure Operations Specialist for night shift in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. You will monitor compute, storage, virtualization, and network services to ensure high availability and performance.

You’ll troubleshoot and resolve incidents in a 24x7 environment, install and support data center infrastructure, and collaborate with engineering, security, and application teams to keep services stable and secure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in infrastructure operations, systems administration, technical support, or a related IT role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain compute, storage, virtualization, and network infrastructure to ensure high service availability.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and elevate incidents in a timely manner while supporting 24x7 operational activities.
• Install and support data center and lab infrastructure, including hardware deployment, cabling, power, and connectivity.
• Execute operational procedures, approved automation workflows, and infrastructure maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, networking, and application teams to maintain stable and secure services.

Job Shift

Monday - Friday 10:30pm-6:30am (3rd Shift)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain compute, storage, virtualization, and network infrastructure to ensure high service availability.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and elevate incidents in a timely manner while supporting 24x7 operational activities.
• Install and support data center and lab infrastructure, including hardware deployment, cabling, power, and connectivity.
• Execute operational procedures, approved automation workflows, and infrastructure maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, networking, and application teams to maintain stable and secure services.

Education And Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting virtualized environments and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Experience working in a 24x7 operations or service support environment.

Knowledge And Skills

• VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or similar virtualization technologies (Required)
• Infrastructure monitoring and incident management tools (Required)
• Systems administration across compute, storage, and operating systems (Required)
• Troubleshooting, documentation, and operational support practices (Required)
• Automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or Bash (Nice to Have)
