Job summary

ONNEC Group in New Jersey seeks a Data Center Team Lead Engineer to manage IMACD work, media handling, and Smart Hands across client sites. You will coordinate vendor escorts, ticket flow, and resource allocation, ensuring service excellence and SLA adherence.

The role requires experience in banking IT environments, data center moves, and structured cabling, with leadership responsibility over engineers and service providers. Hybrid work across NJ sites is available.

Qualifications

• Banking IT environment experience required.
• Data Center moves/adds/changes deployment experience.
• Structured cabling installation, fault finding and testing.
• Knowledge of FTP/UTP and optical fiber cabling standards.
• Ability to handle fast-paced project delivery under pressure.
• Strong change management and ITSM knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IMACD services and coordinate across multiple sites.
• Manage media handling, inventory audits and data wiping.
• Ship/receive equipment and provide vendor escort services.
• Perform Smart Hands support and server diagnostics.
• Oversee cabling, patching, and connectivity tasks.
• Ensure SLA compliance and accurate reporting.
