Job summary

Conduent is seeking a Senior Data Center Technician in New Jersey to lead hands-on server installations, connect and troubleshoot rack hardware, and manage low-voltage cabling, power delivery, and environmental controls in a mission-critical data center.

The role emphasizes SOP adherence, asset tracking, proactive environmental monitoring, and rapid incident response to maintain uptime and meet SLA commitments. Collaboration with cross-functional IT teams is essential for successful deployments.

Qualifications

5–10+ years of data center or infrastructure deployment experience.
Hands-on experience with server hardware and structured cabling.
Proven expertise in physical layer troubleshooting (Layer 1).
Familiarity with ITSM systems (ServiceNow preferred).

Responsibilities

Follow SOPs and industry standards to install and maintain data center equipment.
Maintain asset tracking, rack management, and environmental monitoring.
Configure and troubleshoot server hardware, cabling, and power delivery in the data center.
Respond to incidents and changes to meet SLA and uptime targets.
