Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Data & Analytics to elevate analytics capabilities within the Ross Supply Chain and lead advanced analyses for strategic initiatives.

You will partner with Engineering and cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision making and adopt new methodologies and tools. The role emphasizes building analytics roadmaps, delivering actionable insights, and presenting results clearly to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong analytic skills with recent work experience writing MS SQL or Oracle SQL queries.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and have experience in Power BI or Tableau.
• Outstanding analytical ability: data-driven approach to solving problems with strong quantitative skills.
• Minimum 5 years post college experience in analytical roles; retail/Supply Chain preferred.
• Project Management: ability to set priorities across multiple projects and deadlines; keep leadership updated.
• Detail-oriented with close attention to accuracy and quality of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform practical, action oriented, data analysis to diagnose business problems, optimize approaches and measure impact.
• Lead analytics for cross-functional initiatives with Marketing, Planning, Store Ops, DCs and others.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for analytics on projects.
• Support diverse analyses: large data sets, models, statistical analysis; leverage off-price/Ross knowledge to drive insights.
• Independently summarize and communicate insights and recommendations to business partners.
• Develop and communicate data-driven roadmaps for advanced analytics; adopt new techniques.
• Keep abreast of new analytic methodologies; provide training as needed.
• Build compelling materials to present results to stakeholders.
